Technical Difficulties
You may be wondering over the last week or so what happened to breakingice.ca? Where are the daily posts? Is Mike on vacation? Has he been kidnapped by vigilante locals, unhappy with his articles? Have they decided to seek justice through dark and violent means? Or has he flown the coup and left for a warmer climate? Is he now living on a beach with bikini girls and an endless supply of Jamaican rum? All relevant questions but alas, my life isn’t that exciting. Here’s my problem:
The people who are educated and paid to fix my flailing computer should all be looking for a new line of employment. It would appear they are utterly incompetent when it comes to this task. While my iMac has now collected dust on the shelves of two reputable computer tech stores over the last two weeks I’ve been pulling out whatever hair I can find on my head wondering why Heather and I have had to register our extended warranty for what I believe to be an unprecedented second and third time!
What I also can’t wrap my brain around is why after doing so I had to venture back to one of these outlets and walk an associate representative of Apple through the steps of finding our warranty on their own website. If any of you have answers to these questions please let me know. For that matter if you’re deviantly minded, as I am we can work together and figure out a proper and just form of punishment for these nerd-like creatures with tiny pea sized brains!
I will be up and running on a regular basis again shortly and hope you can all hang in with me. There are some great articles coming up including an interview with Andrew Hunter of Andrew Hunter & the Gatherers including photos, and plenty more local and international surf news.
